The kids care so much about their new home that they constructed a lean-to on the job site in order to watch over the property. They don’t want materials being stolen or the buildings being damaged by vandals. This is a tremendous commitment on behalf of the orphanage as Sreymom and Sitha insist that the children do not miss school, tutoring or other orphanage activities.

The kids are fully invested in the project and as the first building goes up the prospect of having a new home becomes a reality.
